His grandfather worked for the circus as a ‘Human Cannonball’, he only got paid £2 a night (plus mileage!), and his father regularly did a disappearing act, so performing runs in the family.

After 20 years in the business, Carl has performed magic for all types of events throughout Scotland including corporate entertainment, birthday parties, weddings, and all kinds of private functions. He is a very versatile magician who can perform close-up magic among guests as well as stand up magic in front of a crowd. He is at home performing adult magic as well as entertaining at children’s parties.

Whether at a wedding, children’s party, or other personal event, Carl enjoys mixing with an audience. He prides himself on entertaining with magic and humour without offending or embarrassing those around him. He has garnered loads of faithful fans including many clients who book him consistently for their events. His clientele includes Hilton Hotels, British Telecom, The National Trust, and Aberdeen Football Club.
